Es gibt Neues vom “Notes UI App Cev Team” – das OpenNTF-Projekt QuickNote.

Damit lassen sich kurze Notizen erstellen – oder, um es mit den Worten des Entwicklerteams auszudrücken:

QuickNote is a toolbar to quickly jot down notes. It allows you to read and write text files from a folder on your hard drive. After you jot down a note you can open, edit, or delete it later.

Wie gewohnt lässt sich das Tool via Drag+Drop auf die Widget-Sidebar installieren.

IBM hat eine kurze Technote über neue DAOS-(Monitoring-)Features veröffentlicht:

DAOS.Object.Attach_DAOSCloneRemote — lists the number of objects on the server that did not need to be sent over the network from remote clients or servers because they already existed in the local DAOS store.
